I like experimenting with beauty products, you know that I do. And despite buying new stuff all the time, there are a few cosmetics that stay with me no matter what – the cosmetics that I’m faithful to. In a moment, I’ll show you some of these pearls.
If you count on long-lasting effects and actual improvement of your skin’s appearance, you should go on reading my article today’s article. Especially if your skin is easily-irritated, reddened and shows spider veins. Soon you’ll learn what product helped me say goodbye to all these problems.
How did I figure out which skincare products are right for me?
For a long time I was in the dark, not knowing what products would be suitable for my demanding skin. Often I reach for cosmetics recommended by influencers but instead of soothing my skin, most of them only worsen the problem.
Now everything has changed: I listen to what my skin wants to tell me. I’ve learnt how to react to the signs it gives me. That’s why I know which substances and nutrients I need to put on it on a particular day. Does it mean that I have a whole arsenal of skincare products? No, it doesn’t.
After doing my own research, I’m now able to consciously choose the products formulated with the ingredients suitable for couperose skin. I rarely follow recommendations, focusing more on the lists of ingredients a product is made from. And I have to admit that my skin looks way better nowadays. It isn’t as reactive as it used to be, redness is almost non-existent, spider veins aren’t shown through the skin.
Ever since I found the products that work for me, I don’t need to bother about harming my skin any longer. I truly hope that when you finish reading my article you will be able to decide which face serum is ideal for your hyper-reactive and redness-prone skin.
My TOP 5 Soothing Face Serums for Couperose Skin
NO 1: Nanoil, Anti-Redness Face Serum
This one I use most often because it seems to work best for my skin. Besides, it’s size is big (1.69 fl oz / 50 ml) and it doesn’t cost much – that’s one of the reasons why I like putting it on both in the morning and before going to bed. Nanoil serum gives my skin a pleasant feeling of relaxation because it deals with irritation surprisingly fast. I’m also happy with the fact that the serum actually minimizes the spider veins that my face was blemished with. Redness? What redness? 😉 Now my skin seems to be more resistant to external aggressors because it doesn’t turn red for no reason, which was absolutely frustrating. The texture is lightweight so the serum absorbs quickly. As far as I’m concerned, Nanoil Anti-Redness Face Serum is formulated with plant-based extracts and lacks artificial fillers. And that’s basically why I fancy this serum my favorite.

NO 2: Medik8, Calmwise Serum
Here’s another face serum that my skin tolerates really well. Note for those struggling with acne: this product should help you get rid of this problem, too. Apart from relieving irritation, Calmwise Serum also has an antibacterial effect. Additionally, it makes skin stronger so with time it becomes less reactive to irritants. Naturally, I wouldn’t recommend this serum to you if it didn’t make the skin brighter. Broken capillaries? It deals with this concern as well. From what I know, it’s suggested using Medik8 serum topically, which may not be to everyone’s liking. However, it makes sense when you see how much (or rather little) product you get – 0.5 fl oz / 15 ml. Because of that I rarely buy this product, even though I truly like how it works.
NO 3: Origins, Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Advanced Face Serum
Origins is one of my favorite cosmetic brands – I always have at least one of their products in my bathroom. When it comes to their soothing serum – Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Advanced Face Serum – once I learned they have it, I just wanted to buy it. And even though I was kinda disappointed at the beginning, I learned to like this product. My skin somehow had problems with absorbing it completely, and therefore I could spot some strange marks on my face. But with time I figured out that I need to massage the serum into the skin to help it go through epidermis. Now I’m really happy because Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Advanced Face Serum turned out to have many benefits for my skin. It soothes irritation and promotes an even-toned complexion. It gets me glowing skin and frees me from facial redness. The price? I assume that it’s not a budget-friendly product.
NO 4: Dior, Capture Youth Redness Soother
I can’t count how many times you asked me to write reviews of Dior’s products. This encouraged me to do some shopping in Dior stores. One of the cosmetics I chose was Capture Youth Redness Soother and so far it seems to be my favorite serum launched by this world-recognized brand. It won’t be surprising that it costs a small fortune, but the effects are okay. This green-tinted soothing serum by Dior is easy to use and absorbs quickly, that’s why I apply it twice a day. I noticed it made my skin resistant to aggressors and it minimized the appearance of spider veins. Rosacea? Well, I think other products cope with that issue better. Honestly, I thought this serum would work better, but I don’t want to imply that it’s bad. Let me just point out that it contains titanium dioxide, which is responsible for boosting the effects of SPFs.
NO 5: PAI, Instant Calm Aster Maritime & Avoine Byzantine
In the introduction I said that spending money on products recommended by influences is quite risky. But you know what? It was different with PAI soothing serum. I bought it after seeing an ad on Instagram, and luckily the effects turned out to be satisfying. Instant Calm Aster Maritime & Avoine Byzantine has many ingredients, but most of them are of natural origin. Together, they reduce irritation caused by dryness and low tolerance to aggressors. This serum is the thickest of all that I’m reviewing now. As the only one it also comes with a pump, not a dropper. Even though it made my skin brighter and even-toned, it doesn’t make weak capillaries stronger – this is what I noticed, and that’s why it’s the last one on my list. It’s a good soothing serum, but the above-mentioned products also deal with spider veins.
